HIGH PERFORMANCE
Urban Spotlight / Sun Catcher Robot
An object exploring sensitive architecture aware of both its environment and its occupant. When a pedestrian enters its space it redirects a beam of sunlight into their path. The intelligent object uses blob detection, homography, solar data and 3D triangulation. Its brain is a microprocessor. Its body is a cast ultra-high-strength-concrete, cured in a cnced formwork.
